Hey Chris!

Thanks for having our back. We try very hard to make it very clear that we aren't a panel for children, however we aren't "adults-only" either. We aren't pornographic, we just curse a lot and make a whole lot of dirty jokes, kind of like an R rated movie. No matter what convention we do, someone ignores our disclaimers and someone complains and tries to get us in trouble. We aren't evil guys sitting here twirling our mustaches and stroking our hairless cats going "mmmmyessss now we will expose all the children of the world to masturbation." We are just entertainers trying to do a comedy bit for everyone to enjoy. Then again, I believe it was George Carlin who said "if you aren't pissing people off you are doing something wrong."

Of course the best way to deal with people pushing to get in is to give us a bigger room next year *nudge nudge wink wink* but I'm glad you were so cool both with time slots and with letting people camp out outside to hear us. We said it before and we will say it again NYAF rocks for shit like this. Hands down your staff is the coolest staff out there, and while other conventions are getting tied up in bureaucracy, you do your best to give the fans exactly what they want.

However, when the complaining guy stopped yelling at you and left, I totally would have let in the guy who offered you pie. That was definitley your best offer.

As always thanks for being awesome and we can't wait to see you next year. I can only imagine how chaotic NYCC and NYAF at the same time is going to be. We will probably be making a spoiler that appeals to both audiences!

Oh yes, and we did tape the panel! We had Brian "Sonic Whammy" Sapinski and Lawrence "I Don't Have A Nickname Yet But I Can Get You Helicopters And Pie" Brenner taping the show. With any luck, they will be up on Youtube shortly, but you can actually see the intro to spoiler on Youtube now. It was posted up by someone called Seabass. Apparently we even have aquatic fans. SHITFISH!!!

I posted this on your Facebook-but why not post here as well-you guys had me in stitches-and not only did you step up to do the additional panel, you got my back (I work for NYAF) when this guy who apparently possesses selective hearing ignored all your warnings on the content and proceeded to YELL at me for not letting him know-despite having sat there for an hour and not noticed the warnings were there for a reason! You were so popular, I declined the following from people wanting to be let into the room: standard bribes (yes, I declined money), a marriage proposal, undying devotion from some guy and an offer of pie. I only declined entrance because of fire codes-making me the bad guy, but I did leave the doors open and let them stay in the doorway to hear you-that was an iffy firecode violation. Did you video that panel? I only caught parts of it-but laughed my ass off. Let me know. Thanks again! Chris

Thanks! We were happy to step up and do it! Although don't think that the irony of 4 pasty white guys doing a panel on Hip Hop influence in anime has escaped us ^_^. I think that was the most amusing part of the whole panel.

We are glad you enjoyed it, and I was actually surprised that we were able to pull that off with just stuff we knew. Perhaps next year someone else will sign up for an interesting panel and not show up so we can do it ^_^.

I was one of the people in Hip Hop Hearts Anime, and you guys did a terrific job! Thanks so much for stepping up. For an off-the-cuff presentation it was really impressive, and I'm grateful that you were willing to take it on. :-)
